When the throttle problem is displayed on your scooter, it means that the controller detects a malfunction in the throttle control. The solution depends on the model of your display and the type of throttle used.
Diagnosis according to screen type
✅ Scooters equipped with an EY3 screen (the most common): The accelerator is directly integrated into the display . Therefore, a separate repair is difficult and unreliable. The simplest and most effective solution is therefore to replace the entire EY3 display .
✅ Scooters equipped with an EY4 screen or an independent accelerator : In this case, the accelerator is a separate part. It is then possible to replace it directly without changing the screen.
What to do in case of a problem?
1️⃣ Check the cables : Make sure the throttle connector is securely plugged in and the wires are not damaged.
2️⃣ Test with another accelerator (if possible): This allows you to confirm whether the problem comes from the accelerator or another element of the system.
3️⃣ Replace the defective part :
EY3 Screen → Complete screen replacement.
EY4 display or separate accelerator → Replacement of the accelerator only.
