When the brake signal is permanently displayed on the screen of your Dualtron scooter, it means that the system detects active braking. This can be due to two main causes:
1️⃣ The brake lever has not returned to its original position : Visually check whether the lever has returned to its original position after braking. If not, it may be blocked by dirt, a tired spring, or a poorly adjusted part.
2️⃣ A brake sensor problem :
The sensor may be misadjusted or defective , preventing the system from correctly detecting the lever position.
In some cases, adjusting the sensor may be sufficient (positioning adjustment or cleaning).
If the problem persists, a sensor replacement is necessary.
🔧 Sensor replacement :
On some models, the brake sensor can be replaced easily and independently .
On other models it is integrated into the lever, which means the entire brake lever will need to be replaced .
